Life and lame jokes

This post is written after I was totally satisfied eating four balls of ultra-delicious takoyaki(not takiyaki, but i`d LOVE to try it. I completely love anything Japanese), so I decided to – finally - blog.

Here’s a joke before I start writing serious stuff(it’s not really serious stuff. In fact, it’s not serious at all). I have no idea why I placed the word in the sentence. Maybe I should take it out . . . ? Oh whatever.
OK, here’s the joke.
Which way should a fat boy walk? OK, clarification time. I used fat boy for REALLY no intentions of prejudicing anyone. It just came to my mind. And I don’t have anything else to put instead of it, not any that I can think of at this moment.

Oh wait, I just thought of something else. I shall use a fat chicken instead of a boy. Right.
Which way should a fat chicken walk? (LOL)

The answer:
Not the which way.
Yes. Not the WHICH way.
Get it?
Not the WHICH way.

Because if the fat chicken walked the ‘which’ way, it’ll be in a cauldron boiling.

“And dead.” Imitating the Katerina Petrova.

If you still don't get it, go ahead and ask me. Lol . . . I don't think you're even interested.

My feelings this morning after I fought with my mom(again):
I don’t know what my mom expects of me. I really don’t. She clearly doesn’t understand the quote “NOBODY is perfect’. Oh, and she actually think SHE’S perfect. Sometimes I can’t believe she’s my mom - given to the fact that nobody chooses their mom, I’ll have to go with her way with EVERYTHING for the rest of my life. And did I mention she is really, REALLY stubborn? Nothing is her fault. The fault is never hers. It’s all mine. Every freaking time. Even when its SO obvious that it’s her fault. Yeah.
You know, she’s not always like that(what I meant by ‘not always’, is only in a few hours each day), there are times when she is actually normal.
Well, but other than that, she’s crazy.
I don’t mean crazy crazy, but normal crazy. If you get what I mean.
Though it feels like a matter of time until she gets CRAZY crazy - not that I want her to(i`m not that mean. She’s still MY mom). I`m just . . . stating facts.
Really, since about 3 years ago(or 4), my birthday wish had always been the same. That is, for my mom to be normal and TREAT me normally.
I’ll give you a reason as prove for the above statement.
Does your mom leave you in the lurch when you need help?
Example: I slipped on the wet floor in the washroom, and it hurt. Badly. I was crying, and SHE SAW ME, and did NOTHING.
All I want is her to have some conscience in what she is doing. I mean, as a mom, isn’t it right to show at least some concern to your own daughter . . . ?

Soo, today’s a Sunday, and i`m really starting to like Sundays.
Because ever since my church’s mass’ timing changed to an earlier time(7.30. That means I have to wake up at the same timing as I do for school), it seems like Sunday is so long. Really. I guess that’s a good thing as the universe is going around so quickly. In no time I’ll be 15. Trust me.

Talking about Sunday mornings . . .
You can not believe how coincidental this is.
Just when I wanted to talk about Sunday mornings, at the same time I was hearing a cover of Sunday Morning by Maroon 5.
Its covered by Andrew Garcia and crew!(sorry, I`m not familiar with them, I just know Andrew)

Here it is:

They’re all so amazing, huh?

Until next time.

Love and regards,
-Chasina

P.S. Okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise is the best combination of sauces EVER – because it’s the Japanese way! - , followed by cheese and mayonnaise(which you know, is most common in cheese fries, which I love, too).

Animal craze!

So many things have been happening! From Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement, to Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens’ breakup(it was a huge shock! – to me, anyway - who knew it would happen so suddenly, after 5 consecutive years of dating?), to the most recent Winter Solstice Lunar Eclipse. In case you missed it, you can still see it here! I’m living in the Southern Hemisphere, so I couldn’t see it live, sadly.

AND I found out that there’s going to be a mini-series sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender,(the show which I got REALLY mad for – I watched the whole show a total of 4 times – i`m not joking. I`m planning to watch it again some time before the sequel starts) called Avatar: Legend of Korra! According to some websites, the show will start showing on nickelodeon at summer 2011 around September and November. We still have a whole year to wait!(Ugh)

What better way to relax and wait patiently for the show(exclude listening to music, singing, dancing, writing, and anything else you normally do to calm your senses. This will be a bonus for you, if you love animals, like me) then to look at adorable pictures of animals?

Warning: Contains awfully cute characters.

Chipmunk: What are you looking at? Is there something on my face?!
Stranger: I think your cheeks are really chubby.
Chipmunk: That’s my nuts.
Stranger: Oh. Can I have some?
Chipmunk: Are you nuts?
Stranger: Nuts.
Chipmunk: Okay! -jumps on stranger’s head and starts knocking- you’re definitely nuts!
Stranger: Where are my nuts?

Get it?
Eh, okay. That was lame.

Boo!

This will never get old.

Percy: *eats lotus flower* Wooo! -swaves hand here and there-

I warned you of the extreme cuteness.
If you’ve watched the movie, you’ll know never to eat a lotus flower.
I can say that i`m one of the movie’s biggest fans. Patiently(maybe not all the time) waiting for the second movie, the sea of monsters. GO PERCY!

What I do all the time(well not all the time, because i`m on the net 3/4 of the day. But you know, when i`m watching tv). Unless there’s a good show on. Then i'll be the total opposite.

Bunny one: Tickle me, tickle mee!
Bunny two: *snores*

How cute is this. I want a puppy!

My buddy and I are heading to Northpole by the `La Visto Express in habbo! I`m flying the train(the train can actually fly).
My friend’s habbo name shall not be revealed for privacy.

Click this link here to visit my `La Visto Express to fly to Northpole. If you want to.
I made it out of total boredness.
Yes, I own it. Feel free to add me on Habbo!(if you play it)

Anonymous Granny in the Jacuzzi.

Chilling in Santa's sleigh.

Both of us eating raw fish habbo. But trust us, we won’t in real life.

Visiting Santa’s house. Too bad Santa’s not there(he’ll only be there at the rarest of times). If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see him. If you’re not, like us, just grab a cup of Mocha.

Visiting my pet playing center, where everyone’s pets are able to play with each other.
And having some ice-cream.
That’s my pet bear Diki in the corner!(isn't it cute?)

Me, Anonymous Granny and some random dude enjoying the view of our pets playing together. My granny is sleeping though…

Back in the Northpole again! This time, luckily for me, in the right clothes(i wore socks, too).
My granny doesn’t have the clothes I have. But she did her best with her hair to keep her warm and cozy.

Anyway, Happy Belated Christmas to all of you!

Until next time.

If you’re like me, having a mom that just won’t let you cook when you’re alone at home with nothing to eat, then your last two choices will be either making cup noodles(if you have any at home), going out to a local cafeteria to get a takeaway, – what we call ‘da-bao’ in Chinese – or simply picking up your phone and hitting the numbers for a Pizza Hut, Mcdonalds or any other fast-food delivery.
Um, I guess that’s three choices.
But with a mom like mine, who is too money-minded to care about anything else, the third choice is a definite no-no for her.
I`ve tried asking in what I feel like a gazillion times, but you know the result.

“NO!”
Never in my fourteen years and ten days of my life did I have a chance to actually call for a delivery. I mean it.
Not even once.
The only time I actually got to witness a fast-food delivery was when I went to my mom’s colleague house for a party - which I didn’t want to go in the first place, not until I heard that there’s going to be lots of food.
I thought if there was going to be lots of food, maybe there’s going to be some kind of delivery service.
So I went.

And I was right.

They called Pizza Hut for well . . . pizza delivery.
That was about four years ago, by the way.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining.
I`m totally aware of how much luckier I am than a lot of people.

OK, back to the point.

So, being the lazy and lethargic me, I didn’t go to a local cafeteria.
I chose to make my own cup noodles, of course.

I also bought a book recently!

Yup!
Tommy Sullivan is a Freak by Meg Cabot!
I may do a book review once I finish reading it, which won’t be that soon, because I`m working on a lot of stuff now, which means I can’t read it that quickly.
The book actually has two titles, the other one being Pants on Fire.
Be sure not to buy both, it’s not a series! They’re both the same books, just with different titles.
You can read all about it at Meg’s blog here.

And do read her recent review about Tangled, too! Click me!

I FINALLY found a book store that sells Miki Falls! Its at a local Kinokuniya bookstore in the city I live in.
Gosh, it was the first series I ever fell in love with.
I discovered it in a library three years ago, when it was first published.
With my horrible memory, I should’ve forgotten the title by this year, but I guess it just carved a really deep memory in my brain.
Which means it is DEFINITELY worth your time reading!

Miki Falls Volume 1 by Mark Crilley

There are four volumes to this series.
I`ve read the first two which is Spring and Summer, but I don’t really remember much of it. Mind you, it was THREE YEARS AGO.
Remembering its title was already kind of a ‘miracle’ for me.

I didn’t complete the series by reading books three and four, because somehow the library kept all the Manga away.
You had no idea how furious I was.
I could lift a panda.

Anyway, can you believe I actually named my Pet Society pet Miki because I loved the main character Miki Yoshida so much?
Another reason why I could actually remember the title of the book. I just remembered ‘Falls’ recently.

*Ahem, I am not playing pet society anymore, by the way. I was kind of addicted to it when I just started using facebook, but not now anymore, in case you wanted to know.
And Miki Falls is an OEL, short form for Original English-language manga.
So you don’t need to worry about it being in Japanese! Its written by Mark Crilley(One of my favourite writers - and also illustrators - all time. Gosh he is SO amazing – and really, really creative).*

But now, no more fury and rage about not being able to buy the book! I`m gonna get it as soon as i`ve finished the current book i`m reading, which is Tommy Sullivan is a Freak, like I mentioned just now.

Books are awesome.
Especially those written by awesome authors.

Till’ next time.

Love,

Chasina

A blog post about magic. No, not really.

I love pink and anything magical.

*Whoosh* Look, i can see you! Because i`m right behind you. Though you can't see me. Ha. Told you i love magic.
But i think i missed telling you the part that i can actually do it. Oops.

I admit i write weird stuff when i`m bored.

Anyway, the whole thing was a fraud.
I didn't beguile you, did i?

I`m here to blog about the stuff i watched recently.

First off all, the most recent episode of The Vampire Diaries, By The Light Of The Moon, was of course UHMAZING, like all the episodes from tvd.
But as you know, there'll always be a best part in every episode of a show.
And this episode's best scene was definitely this.

The look on Jeremy's face was just hilarious. So. adorable.
What i meant was, poor Jeremy.

And as the fans of tvd know, Tyler transformed into a werewolf for the first time ever.
Michael Trevino did an AMAZING job! It was really heartbreaking seeing Tyler suffer. And Caroline trying to help, but we all know there's nothing she can do . . . except being there with him.
The werewolf transformation was a success, and Caroline(or anybody else) wasn't hurt by him.
Thank God.

And i watched a movie - in the cinema and not online, anyway - just two days ago!
Guess what?
Yes, Tangled!
AHHHHHH! I can't explain how superb it was!
I just LOVE Disney's Princess movies!

This part includes some spoilers, so if you haven't watched the movie but will be, i`d suggest you to skip this to keep the suspense.

And i've got to admit, when Eugene Fitzherbert aka Flynn Rider slashed off Rapunzel's hair with a knife to save her, it was kind of sad because i'll miss her really long, blonde hair.
Those who watched the movie, will know that after her hair is being cut off, it'll turn brown and the magic powers it possesses dies with it.
The sacrifice of her hair saved her freedom for the rest of her life though.
And i like her with brown hair as much as her with blonde.
But apparently, she herself has healing powers. Even without her magical hair.
Rapunzel saved Eugene from the hurt wound Mother Gothel stabbed(which killed him) with a sad, sad tear.
Then they got married(which Eugene claimed to be the one not agreeing the marriage at first -but did later on - and said Rapunzel was the one who actually asked). Which was of course, this time, is a real fraud. Eugene was the one who asked Rapunzel to marry him! Not the other way round. That guy has got some showy attitude. But with Rapunzel, no way is he going to continue being like that successfully.

Did i mention i love Maximus too!? He is some kickass horse!

Since its still showing in the cinemas now, i suggest you grab a family member/members, or a friend to go watch this in 3D if you haven't!
Trust me, its TOTALLY worth the money spent.

And after a long wait, Pretty Little Liars is so near to its airing date to continue on season one - after it stopped at episode ten!
By near, i mean in about three weeks.
But look, a year just passed and it felt like only a month.
Three weeks would pass in a blink of an eye before you even know it.
Which also means school would have commenced by then(in Singapore).
Yuck. No more awesome freedom . . .

And by the way, my favourite character from Pretty Little Liars is Hanna Marin(she's the quirky blonde one in the picture)who met with an accident just on the last episode, - due to her almost exposing who A really is - you'll know if you watched the show. But please let her survive, PLEASE - who is also played by Ashley Benson, who actually have twitter! Go follow her @AshBenzo if you watch the show and haven't followed her yet! Even if you don't watch PLL, follow her because she's amazing!

I said i would update you guys about my book.
Well, i haven't finished planning the whole plot yet, but i made some progress.
There's just one thing i can't seem to decide.
The colour of the lead male's eyes. Should it be blue or brown?
I'll be asking my friends for votes.
You could tell me via twitter @LovatoSalvatore or even leave a tag in my blog though!

P.S. I know i changed my blogskin again, but this time i`m sure it'll last at least a month. But probably more, because i really like this skin. I promise.

Till' next time.
