If you’re like me, having a mom that just won’t let you cook when you’re alone at home with nothing to eat, then your last two choices will be either making cup noodles(if you have any at home), going out to a local cafeteria to get a takeaway, – what we call ‘da-bao’ in Chinese – or simply picking up your phone and hitting the numbers for a Pizza Hut, Mcdonalds or any other fast-food delivery.
Um, I guess that’s three choices.
But with a mom like mine, who is too money-minded to care about anything else, the third choice is a definite no-no for her.
I`ve tried asking in what I feel like a gazillion times, but you know the result.

“NO!”
Never in my fourteen years and ten days of my life did I have a chance to actually call for a delivery. I mean it.
Not even once.
The only time I actually got to witness a fast-food delivery was when I went to my mom’s colleague house for a party - which I didn’t want to go in the first place, not until I heard that there’s going to be lots of food.
I thought if there was going to be lots of food, maybe there’s going to be some kind of delivery service.
So I went.

And I was right.

They called Pizza Hut for well . . . pizza delivery.
That was about four years ago, by the way.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining.
I`m totally aware of how much luckier I am than a lot of people.

OK, back to the point.

So, being the lazy and lethargic me, I didn’t go to a local cafeteria.
I chose to make my own cup noodles, of course.

I also bought a book recently!

Yup!
Tommy Sullivan is a Freak by Meg Cabot!
I may do a book review once I finish reading it, which won’t be that soon, because I`m working on a lot of stuff now, which means I can’t read it that quickly.
The book actually has two titles, the other one being Pants on Fire.
Be sure not to buy both, it’s not a series! They’re both the same books, just with different titles.
You can read all about it at Meg’s blog here.

And do read her recent review about Tangled, too! Click me!

I FINALLY found a book store that sells Miki Falls! Its at a local Kinokuniya bookstore in the city I live in.
Gosh, it was the first series I ever fell in love with.
I discovered it in a library three years ago, when it was first published.
With my horrible memory, I should’ve forgotten the title by this year, but I guess it just carved a really deep memory in my brain.
Which means it is DEFINITELY worth your time reading!

Miki Falls Volume 1 by Mark Crilley

There are four volumes to this series.
I`ve read the first two which is Spring and Summer, but I don’t really remember much of it. Mind you, it was THREE YEARS AGO.
Remembering its title was already kind of a ‘miracle’ for me.

I didn’t complete the series by reading books three and four, because somehow the library kept all the Manga away.
You had no idea how furious I was.
I could lift a panda.

Anyway, can you believe I actually named my Pet Society pet Miki because I loved the main character Miki Yoshida so much?
Another reason why I could actually remember the title of the book. I just remembered ‘Falls’ recently.

*Ahem, I am not playing pet society anymore, by the way. I was kind of addicted to it when I just started using facebook, but not now anymore, in case you wanted to know.
And Miki Falls is an OEL, short form for Original English-language manga.
So you don’t need to worry about it being in Japanese! Its written by Mark Crilley(One of my favourite writers - and also illustrators - all time. Gosh he is SO amazing – and really, really creative).*

But now, no more fury and rage about not being able to buy the book! I`m gonna get it as soon as i`ve finished the current book i`m reading, which is Tommy Sullivan is a Freak, like I mentioned just now.

Books are awesome.
Especially those written by awesome authors.

Till’ next time.

Love,

Chasina

I feel like a freak always wanting to change my blogskin.

So maybe i would settle on this one for some time . . . hopefully.
"Its like you're changing your clothes." Once of my friends told me.
I guess i`m very fickle.

Its been awhile since i`ve blog. Actually, i did blog earlier this week, but the stupid blogger messed it up and deleted everything while it was a draft(OK, i really don't want to bring this thing up again because seriously, it just makes my mood stink). Yeah, it was really long. Any sane person would be pissed. But thankfully, i got over it.

And i finally decided to blog again.
On this day known for . . . IAN SOMERHALDER'S BIRTHDAY!
And Birthday Ian is already trending worldwide on twitter! Isn't that awesome?!

The power of fandom.

Ian DESERVES it! For being everything he is!
And mine just passed two days ago. Which means i`ve officially turned fourteen. Thank you to the people that wished me a happy birthday, i really DO appreciate it!

But one thing still sucks.

I still can't find Meg's book one and two of The Mediator series!
Trust me. I`ve searched everywhere -almost, everywhere- but i still can't find it!

I guess i have to try harder.
Like they say, Never Say Never(and i can't wait for Justin's 3D movie coming out soon!).

But if i really can't find it anywhere(in my country), i guess i'll just have to wait until they re-issue new copies of it coming out in Febuary next year.

But at least the wait is worth it.

Not just because its wrote by the amazing Meg Cabot, but because the cover rocks!

Just look at it, isn't it beautiful?

I`m still deciding on which idea to settle on for my first ever story(i`ve did others before, but they were just for fun).

This will be my first serious one.

There are so many ideas swimming through my head, i just can't settle on one yet!
But pray hard i'll choose one soon.

I'll post about it as soon as i`ve got the idea!
Till' next time.
